CLASSROOM VOLUNTEER
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with FoodRight in our Milwaukee Public School classrooms. There are 3 easy steps to becoming a FoodRight in-class volunteer:
1. First, become a FoodRight volunteer by filling out the form below if you haven't done so already.
2. If this is your first time volunteering with Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS), fill out the application to become an MPS volunteer below. Confirmation can take 1-2 weeks and must be forwarded to Community Relations Manager Leslie, lkrueger@foodright.org BEFORE you volunteer in a classroom. You will also be prompted to make a VicNet account.*
3. Volunteers spending 5+ hours weekly at MPS schools will need to fill out the Volunteer Placement Form. Find this in your VicNet account under "Volunteer Documents and Forms."
4. Lastly, view our SignUpGenius to select dates and times that work for you! If you have any questions regarding this process, contact Leslie (email above).
*VicNet is how MPS records and tracks volunteers. Since you are a FoodRight volunteer, you do NOT need to track your volunteer hours.
