Volunteers have opportunities to contribute at every level. Whether you have an hour to spare or would like to regularly dedicate your talents to an on-going job, lend us your time and talents in our quest to change the way our children eat.
FoodRight has a long history of partnering with university and college programs to give students opportunities for on-site learning while providing schools and organizations with the support they need. Students pursuing credentials as health educators or registered dietitans may intern in a community rotation gaining valuable experience in developing, implementing and evaluating nutrition education programs.
Educators struggling to meet growing academic demands with limited time will welcome our curricula that incorporate multiple core standards while delivering engaging, health-promoting cooking and gardening programs that enrich the lives of students and their famillies. Requiring no kitchen, minimal equipment for an entire school, and recipes averaging less than $1/child, FoodRight keeps cost to a minimum.
