Good School Food
We are partnering with Milwaukee Public Schools on the Good School Food Project that will focus on bringing healthier, local, and loved food selections to Milwaukee youth, thanks to the USDA Lake Michigan School Fund System Innovation Hub Grant. Milwaukee Public School Wellness Policy: Gain awareness of how district policies influence student health and how to advocate for change

Cultural Food Adaptation: Discover how healthy meals can reflect cultural preferences

Food Justice History: Explore the role of movements like the Black Panthers in expanding access to school meals

Hands-on Learning: Practice culinary skills, label reading, and communication role-play
