Caramelized Onion dip

Serves 8
INGREDIENTS
4 cups sweet onion chopped
¼ teaspoon kosher salt
5 Tablespoons water
1 teaspoon onion powder
¾ cups Greek yogurt
½ cup sour cream
6 Tablespoons cream cheese
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon balsamic vinegar
3-4 Tablespoons canola oil
DIRECTIONS
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onions and stir occasionally until starting to soften, about 4 minutes.
Add salt, reduce heat to medium low, keep stirring occasionally until onions are caramelized, golden brown.
Add water 1 Tablespoon at a time.
Remove from the heat and set aside to cool completely
Whisk yogurt, sour cream, and cream cheese together in a medium bowl until smooth.
Whisk in Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, balsamic vinegar.
Stir onions into the yogurt mixture until well combined. Serve.
