Hummus

INGREDIENTS

Hummus

  • 1 (15 oz) can chickpeas (1 ½ cups cooked beans), drained & rinsed

  • 2 Tbsp tahini

  • 2 Tbsp Greek yogurt

  • 2 Tbsp olive oil

  • Juice of ½ lemon (1 Tbsp)

  • ½ tsp Kosher salt

  • 1 small clove garlic, minced or grated

  • ¼ cup water


​Garnish

  • ¼ tsp paprika

  • 2 pinches cumin (⅛ teaspoon)


DIRECTIONS

  1. Drain and rinse chickpeas.

  2. Put all of the ingredients (except garnish) in a bowl.

  3. Purée with a masher or fork until smooth.

  4. If mixture is too thick, add more water, 1 Tbsp at a time.

  5. Garnish with paprika and cumin. Serve and enjoy!
